Story
In April 2027, I will be taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of a cause that has become incredibly personal to me and my family.
Last year, my dad was diagnosed with dementia. It has been heartbreaking to watch someone I love face the challenges that come with this condition. Dementia doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed – it impacts the entire family, changing lives in ways that are difficult to put into words.
My dad has always been there for me, and now I want to do something that can help make a difference for others facing the same journey. By running this half marathon, I hope to raise funds and awareness to support those living with dementia today, while helping to fund research that could one day lead to better treatments and, hopefully,
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small the amount, I would be incredibly grateful. Every penny will help support vital work and bring hope to families like mine.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting me in memory, honour, and support of my amazing dad. Your generosity truly means the world to us.
