This challenge is something I’ve wanted to attempt for a little over a year now! Various set backs and challenges to over come finally means I can have a go at it. 

The reason why and the inspiration, firstly my family. Having two kids changed the way I look at life, and I started to think what I could do to make them proud one day. And my amazing wife that supports me when I’m at my lowest and is my biggest cheerleader when I’m at my highest. 

Why I chose the two charities after my dad got diagnosed two years ago with oesophagus  cancer, this charity was a no brainier to pick. He’s gone through his journey with highs and lows and is still fighting today and learning how to live his new life after the op and after getting his all clear. 

ACOM is another wonderful charity that has done so much for its community. I’ve met and I’ve coached members that have gone through some terrible experiences and yet they still find a way to smile and tackle life. And some of the reasons they can do this would be down to ACOM and the services they offer.
