Nottingham to the coast, by pedal power..... · 3 August 2024
This summer, myself and close friends are revisiting pedal power to take on the Nottingham to Skegness Challenge in order to raise funds for Stand up to Cancer.
Many of us have been touched by cancer - perhaps through a personal diagnosis, or through a family member, friend, or colleague that may have been diagnosed with the disease. A cancer diagnosis can be an overwhelming experience and challenges individuals in ways sometimes hard for others to imagine
We hope that by taking on this challenge, we might encourage you to make a kind donation, no matter how big or small, to help make a difference to those that need it most.
Personally, I'd promised I'd retired from this kind of behaviour, but after reading about 11 year old Elizabeth Rooney, and then taking the time to try and comprehend what cancer had done to her family, this challenge and charity raiser seemed appropriate.

Thank you everyone. We appreciate your help.
