Story

I will be running the 2026 TCS London Virtual Marathon for St Wilfrid’s Hospice (Eastbourne).

St Wilfrid's Hospice holds a special place in my heart, the care they showed my father in law was exceptional and made a truly awful time that much easier to deal with.

Year after year I have entered the ballot for London Marathon and have not been lucky enough to get in, therefore I am running the London Virtual Marathon and I would like to fundraise for the Hospice as I know how important funds are to them.

I would be so grateful for anything you can give to support this amazing charity.

St Wilfrid’s provides support for people with any life-limiting illness towards the end of their lives.

They also support their families and carers. This could be in the hospice building, in the person’s own home or in a care home.

They are a charity who are partly funded by the NHS but around 75% of their funding comes from donations made by the local community. Care is provided to patients, free of charge.

Whatever the amount you are able to donate, I will be incredibly grateful as you help me get closer to achieving my fundraising target. Thank you for your support.
