As many of you will know, my wife Louise was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in October 2025. We are still struggling to come to terms with what this means for our family and are doing our best to be as positive as possible.

With that in mind, I have decided to undertake the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon in May to raise funds for the MND Association. The MNDA have been a great support to us since diagnosis so we’d like to give something back.

The MND Association focus on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
