RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

A dedicated team of serving and retired officers from North Devon is embarking on an extraordinary journey to conquer the Ultra Mountain Challenge 16 Peaks on 22 June 2026. This personal marathon demands conquering the 16 highest peaks of Snowdonia, covering over 50km of rugged and exposed terrain—all within a single day. Starting at 3am and racing against time to finish before nightfall, this challenge tests the very limits of endurance, resilience, and determination—qualities that inspire us all.

We are united by a shared purpose: raising vital funds for causes close to our hearts and that we are all passionate about. Please read each team member's individual page to understand more about each of the charities. Your donation goes to that charity.

Your support is crucial in helping us reach our fundraising goal of £2,000. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference to the work of these charities.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and completely secure—your details remain safe, and your contribution goes directly to the charity without delay or extra cost. We invite you to join us on this inspiring journey by supporting our challenge.

Together, we can create hope, raise vital funds where it is needed most and make a lasting impact.
