So around the 20th March 2014, I had a wet shave. A couple of days later, the Rams battered Forest 5-0. I made a vow to not shave until my team achieved promotion. Little did I know that this pledge would lead to a decade-long journey. Now, as the long-awaited promotion has been secured, I am preparing to part ways with my beloved beard in support of Mental Health Matters. On the 24th of May 2024, I will be shaving off the symbol of this remarkable journey as a personal challenge, aiming to raise £500 for this important cause.
