The charity is within the Salesian family having a Catholic identity. The Charity focuses on the needs of vulnerable young people in Zambia. The Charity aims to enable development through the means of education by raising money for charitable projects, administered by Salesian sisters and local diocesan partners. Projects include a Porridge club and scholarship program.

Story

Each year students from Salesian College visit Zambia to advocate for the Salesian Charity SHARE. is to relieve poverty education providing opportunities for young people from destitute backgrounds within Education. For example, a young woman that we met in the summer lived in a dangerous settlement housing with just herself and her older sister. At the same time she managed to achieve distinctions in all subjects and wants undertaker degree of in mining engineering. This is a sector of the Zambia economy with employment and the young woman can move on to a sustainable future. Share’s aim is to provide for her scholarship which along so many others in different circumstances give young people from tough backgrounds opportunities and hope. Please do all you can to support a tough mudder adventurers who are bringing Hope.
