Story
Billy is walking part of the National Star Sunrise Walk on Sunday 12 April, aided by his Mum, Dad and auntie Amanda.
This walk will be very challenging for Billy - he'll walk around 6-7k, which is a really long way for Billy, especially over undulating and off road footpaths - we're hoping there aren't too many stiles to try and get him over!
He'll have to get up early to get to National Star College for a 5.40 start, which is a challenge in itself. He'll then walk from College along the hilly footpaths of the Cotswold Way. We aim to be at the top of Leckhampton Hill in time to see the sunrise, before continuing on the Cotswold Way to Seven Springs where Billy will finish.
Billy is putting his best foot forward for young people with disabilities and is looking for sponsorship to help transform lives with every step. The money he raises will enable National Star students to have access to the right equipment and resources so that they can be as independent as possible and live their lives to the full.
As Billy's parents we can see the huge benefits of him having the access to the right resources. Billy is currently in his final year at National Star, and he has thrived over the last 3 years. His life really has been transformed
