Story

I've never been a runner, but now seems a good time to start! I'll be working hard throughout training and the marathon itself, fundraising for The Salvation Army in Jersey.

The Salvation Army in Jersey is developing 2 projects to support people in really difficult times.

May Cottages is a community of 3 homes for families in crisis or facing homelessness. It is a place of hope, love and new beginnings, that will be a support as we help families to flourish and eventually move on into longer term housing.

The Pantry Store has been born out of the food bank that began during the COVID pandemic. With the feel of a small corner shop that fills the gap between food banks and regular shops, food will be heavily subsidised so that individuals and families can access food support with dignity, choice and hope.

Any money you can donate will support this work and make a huge difference in the lives of those supported by The Salvation Army in Jersey.

Thank you.
