This is a short walk, but crammed with views and landmarks, so the name of the walk is "Walk and selfies" The idea is not only a gentle stroll along the two banks of the River Tyne, but to capture it in selfies and landmark photos while raising money for this much needed charity.

This is a deeply personal walk as the effects of blood cancer can be life changing and yet unnoticed and hidden by other symptoms. Taking away parts of yourself without realising and having a knock on effect on others in your life. So please join me on this walk and raise much needed funds.

We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
