Story
I am one of the co-owners of the marketing & events agency Chief Nation, and this year we’re proud to be supporting the UK’s leading children’s charity – the NSPCC. For the next 12 months, through various activities, we'll be raising vital funds to help thousands of children across the country.
To kick things off I'll be running the mighty Manchester Marathon on 27th April - one of Europe's most popular runs. It's known for being flat and friendly, but it sure will be a hard graft anyway. I'm hoping you can keep me motivated in my training by pledging support to the NSPCC.
Here's a little bit more about the incredible work the NSPCC are doing...
Established over 140 years ago, the NSPCC pride themselves on protecting young children from abuse and neglect. Not only do they work with children who are suffering, but also families, carers and schools to ensure every child is safe online and feels supported.
Their helplines, family support, therapy services and research are all making a huge difference, and we can’t wait to make our own contribution in recognition of their dedication and hard work.
Not only will Chief Nation be raising vital funds for this worthy cause, but we'll also be helping the NSPCC to connect with leading tech enterprises, as well as IT and technology executives around the globe to help further their work in protecting children online.
I thank you in supporting the children (and me in this challenge).
