On 20th June 2024 I will be part of a group taking on the Kilimanjaro Trek for Overgate Hospice.

As you may know, Kilimanjaro is the world's tallest free-standing mountain, reaching a summit of 5895 metres. We will pass through five different ecological zones (rainforest, desert, heather and moorlands, the cultivation zone and the snow capped arctic summit).

7 days will be spent at heights of over 3000 metres in temperatures as extreme as -18° to 26° centigrade. 6 nights will be in tents on sparse camping areas.

To do this trek i would like to raise a total of £1500 for the Hospice and with your help this really will make a difference to a very worthwhile cause.
