Charity football game against Hibs legends · 20 May 2025

We support Edinburgh's Royal Hospital for Children and Young People by giving seriously ill children and their families the extra support they need when facing a life-changing hospital visit. We speed up recovery, take away fear and provide reassurance, distraction and fun every step of the way.

Story

This May, we are proud to be taking on a team of Hibs Legends at Easter Road in support of Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity (ECHC).

Samba Foundation FC is a charity football team made up of players who want to make a difference through the game they love. We bring people together, raise funds for important causes, and create unforgettable experiences by playing matches in stadiums across Scotland. Every game we play is about more than football. It is about impact, community and support for those who need it most.

ECHC supports the life-changing work of Edinburgh’s Royal Hospital for Children and Young People. While the NHS delivers world class medical care, ECHC brings more than medicine. They provide comfort, reassurance and vital support to seriously ill children and their families during some of their most difficult moments.

With your help, we are aiming to raise as much as possible to support this incredible charity. Every donation makes a difference.

Thank you for being part of it.
