Family Action is an award-winning national charity working from the heart of local communities across England and Wales. We’ve been supporting people through change, challenge and crisis for over 150 years.

Story

On Sunday 26th April 2026 I will be running the London Marathon for Family Action!

Family Action is a charity that makes a profound difference in the lives of vulnerable families across the UK. They tackle some of the biggest challenges families face, from mental health issues to financial hardship, by offering tailored support and building resilience.

By donating to support Family Action, you will make a significant difference to families in crisis in so many ways, some examples of where your donations will help straight away are: -

• Funding practical and financial support for a woman fleeing domestic abuse with their children

• Helping supply families who family action support with regular parcels of food and essentials

• Keeping the Family Action free, national helpline FamilyLine open

Each year Family Action helps: -

• 60,000 families through their services

• 350,000 children eat a tasty, healthy breakfast every day

• 11,000 toys are given to children who would otherwise have none at Christmas

That's why the work of Family Action is so important. For over 150 years, they have acted as a lifeline, providing practical, emotional, and financial support to families who are struggling with crisis, poverty, and mental health challenges.

Every mile I run and every pound you donate helps Family Action provide that essential support, ensuring vulnerable families today have the safety net and opportunities my own family benefited from.

Thank you for helping me support a cause that is truly close to my heart.
