Story

This year I am going to do a couple of walking challenges. Firstly on 22nd March I am going to take part in the Brain Tumour Charity Twilight Walk of 10K. This iconic walk will see the community unite to take strides through the London, as we reflect, remember and raise awareness of brain tumours.

Then on Joe's birthday 25th May I am going to do a solo step challenge and see how many steps I can do in 24 hours with the aim being a minimum of 100,000.

**UPDATE** I completed the 24 hour walk on Sunday 25th and managed 136,000 steps and over 100KM tired legs but great to finish it and do more than I hoped.

I am doing both of these in memory of my son Joe who passed away in 2020 with a brain tumour and raising funds and awareness for the Brain Tumour Charity.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.

We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And we're doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
