Story
I'm raising money for ABF The Soldiers' Charity who provide vital support to soldiers, veterans and their families in times of need. The Caterham Yomp was the challange I always wanted to do. I carried out the Yomp on 03 June 23 and completed the 54 miles in 22 hours and 48 mins- so getting well under the 24 hour time aim. Although I am Royal Navy, it is just incredible to support any of our military charities and how they support our serving, veterans and reservists in times of need..
James Fisher Subtech have just been presented the Armed Forces Covernant Silver Award and part of this is how we want to fully embrace our reservist/veterans/families and potential employees. I am very proud to say that I will be at Carlisle Cathedral on 14 June 23- to receive on behalf of JFS our ‘Armed Forces Covenant Silver Award’. Next year, it’s GOLD!
Also as part of Armed Forces Day- 24 June 2024 it is also a way of regognition of all of our services and what fantastic work every person is doing.
If you can spare a little change it will certainly be greatly appreciated.https://events.soldierscharity.org/event/cateranyomp/home
