Story

On the 12th July 2025 I am undertaking the SEVERN TRENT MOUNTAIN CHALLENGE throughout the hills and moors of the Staffordshire Roaches area of the Peak District National Park.

This is a tough ONE DAY TREK of over 20miles and 4000ft of climb. It is recognised as one of the country’s most difficult one day events.

I am raising funds for WATER AID to provide clean water and sewage facilities throughout the disadvantaged areas of the world. Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone's daily life. Without all three, people can't live dignified, healthy lives.

With clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene, children are born healthier. They don't have to drink water contaminated with animal & human waste. Deadly "Waterborne infections and illnesses" can be eliminated and whole communities start to thrive. IT SOUNDS NORMAL AND IT SHOULD BE.
