Story
My wife Carol died on the 26th of July after a short battle with cancer, she was 64 years of age and is survived by myself and our daughter Rebecca. To everyone who knew her she was a wonderful friend full of kindness and laughter who always had time for anyone who needed a shoulder to lean on or an ear to listen to them, but to us she was also a beloved wife and mother who's absence leaves a heartbreaking hole in our lives. During the last few years of her life she was an enthusiastic and committed volunteer for The Parish Trust, a charity in the Machen, Bedwas and Trethomas area of Caerphilly borough which was originally founded during the Covid lockdown period to provide food parcels to people trapped in Lockdown but has since expanded it's operations with a commitment to fighting poverty in all it's forms.
Her funeral is due to take place at the end of August, we are asking that instead of flowers or gifts to the family a donation be made to the Trust via this page, an invitation we would like to extend to everybody who's life was impacted by Carol and who wishes to honour her memory.
