Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.
After recently turning 60, I wanted to do something special, so I’ll be running the London Marathon 2026 to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK, a charity very close to my heart. My own father is currently living with Parkinson’s, and my father-in-law, Roy, sadly passed away three years ago after living with the condition for ten years.
Parkinson’s affects thousands of people and their families across the UK. Parkinson’s UK provides vital support, funds research, and works towards better treatments — and ultimately a cure.
As well as fundraising for Parkinson’s UK, I’m also running the London Marathon in support of We Love Lichfield, with a separate fundraising page for this charity.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference and is hugely appreciated.
Training for a marathon is a big challenge, but knowing I’m running for such important causes will keep me going every step of the way.
Thank you so much for your support — it truly means a lot.
