*** UPDATE: Completed the three peaks challenge, met some amazing people, ironed a shirt on all three peaks and the fundraising continues, huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far ***
I am raising money in memory of my son Joe who we lost to a brain tumour in 2020. Joe made multiple visits to his GP before being diagnosed in A&E and passing away less than 2 weeks later.
We are raising funds to help with research, support for families and to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms so more young people like Joe are diagnosed in a timely fashion.
This year I am doing a number of challenges with the main one being a solo 3 peak challenge with a twist. From July 15-17th I will be taking my Iron and Ironing board up each of the three peaks and ironing a charity t-shirt at the top.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.
We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And we're doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
