Growing up in the Forest of Dean you start to realise that it's not just a place on a map it's more than that, the Forest of Dean is a community. Full of friendly people who do what they can to help one another, looking out for each other and most of all caring for each other when we need it.
Great oaks hospice a place that cares for those who need it in their last moments of life, a place of peace and tranquility with the most amazing care and support workers who will dedicate their time ensuring your loved ones have the best possible last days, months or years of life. Please help me to keep this Forest of Dean spirit and ensure great oaks hospice remains the most caring place on the map. We never know when we may need it ourselves.
Great Oaks Hospice was established over twenty years ago, for the care of persons living with life-limiting illness in the Forest of Dean and surrounding area, and for the support of their carers, families and friends, whether before or after the death of such persons.
Our mission is to provide the best care and support for everyone when they need it most and we can only do that with the support of our amazing community of fundraisers and volunteers.
