Raising Funds for the MND Association, Inspired by Claire Park

This year, Croxdale Motor Group is proudly supporting the MND Association in support of Claire Park. A much-loved headteacher, devoted mother of two, and passionate educator who was recently diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease at just 46 years old.

Claire has spent over two decades shaping young minds, most recently as Headteacher of Hartburn Primary School, part of the Prince Regent Street Trust. Stepping down from the role she loved due to ill health has been an incredibly difficult moment, not just for Claire, but for the many lives she’s touched throughout her teaching career.

Despite the diagnosis, Claire continues to face life with resilience, dignity, and an unwavering commitment to raising awareness of this devastating condition. Her story has deeply moved our team and strengthened our resolve to help make a difference.

MND affects the brain and nerves, leading to progressive muscle weakness. There is currently no cure; but through vital research, support, and campaigning, the MND Association works tirelessly to improve the lives of those affected.
