For the last three years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a Critical Care Paramedic with the North West Air Ambulance Charity, responding to life-changing emergencies from the air.

In 2027, I am stepping out of the helicopter and onto a 70ft racing yacht to take on the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.

The Mission:

* 40,000 Nautical Miles: A full circumnavigation of the globe.

* 11 Months at Sea: Facing the world's most extreme elements.

* £10,000 Goal: Every penny raised goes directly to NWAA to keep our helicopters flying and our crews saving lives.
