Cycling the Way of the Roses (Coast to Coast) 170 miles · 22 August 2025

Established in 1912 the Royal Engineers Association (REA) is the charity for the British Army’s; bridge builders, bomb disposal operators, high risk searchers, divers, geospatial and construction specialists. Collectively these men and women are known as “Sappers”.

Story

🚴‍♂️ I'm cycling 170 miles across the country on the Way of the Roses to raise money for a charity close to my heart – the Royal Engineers Association (REA).

The REA supports serving and former members of the British Army’s Corps of Royal Engineers – the Sappers – and their families, offering financial help, employment support, mental health resources, and more.

It’s going to be a tough ride (especially with my short legs!), but every mile is for a great cause.

🙏 Please donate if you can – your support means a lot!

Thank you!
