I am running the 2027 London Marathon to help the Meningitis Research Foundation achieve their goal of a world free from meningitis.

As most close friends and family know, my eldest daughter, Liya, contracted meningitis at nine months old in 2013 and was critically unwell, spending over seven nights in hospital. Thankfully, she recovered well and received outstanding care and support from Northwick Park Hospital.

This cause is for Liya, for other children who have suffered from meningitis, and for the vital work the Meningitis Research Foundation carries out every day to eradicate this deadly disease.
