Mini Plant Oxford Hike for Thomley Hall Centre

Hike up Mount Snowden · 27 September 2024
We are a group of 8 BMW Mini employees, from The Door Line, that are walking up Mount Snowden in Wales. We are all amateur walkers who have decided to take on this challenge, following a failed attempt by 4 from the group due to bad weather earlier this year.
We are raising money as a collective group and all monies raised will be donated to Thomley Hall. This is a fantastic setting where children of all abilities and disabilities, and is used by some of the group.
Participants:
Kyle Earnshaw, Carl Spragg, Tony Hendricks, Terry Willis, Ricki Bloomfield, Stefhan Furze, Michael Connolly & Cameren Wood.
The Route:
We will be walking The Watkin Path. Total length there and back is 13km. Ascent is 3,330 feet(1,015 metres) This should take approximately 6 hours but what makes it more fun is we are doing this in one day, travelling from Oxford and back in the same day!
The Charity:
Thomley is a place for people of all abilities & disabilities. We bring disabled people, their families, carers & friends together with nurturing & understanding staff. Each year we receive over 15,000 to our site in Worminghall, between Aylesbury and Oxford.
With your help we can support more people in even more ways and enhance the lives of disabled people. Please support us generously so we can continue providing accessible and essential services for disabled people of all abilities.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
