Hi All thanks so much firstly for taking the time out to read my Just Giving page , this year i am taking part in the Colour dash run to raise funds for the amazing charity that is Team Rise Project based in Burnley Lancashire. TEAM RISE is a Charity (RCN: 1189278) based in Brierfield that supports

people from all across East Lancashire.

We care for adults who have a learning disability, autism and those who

are vulnerable, lonely or socially isolated.

These areas are some of the most deprived areas of the country and

have the higher rates of disability.

Our objective is to give individuals the opportunity to develop, socialise

and explore their ideas and goals through a wide variety of educational,

social and practical activities. However, our main and most important aim

is that the people who come here have a great deal of fun, laugh loads

and make long lasting and meaningful friendships.

We provide tailored and empathetic support, empowering individuals to

contribute to their communities in a meaningful and positive way,

reducing social isolation and loneliness.

We offer an array of enriching activities, from interactive learning classes on diverse topics

to engaging cooking sessions, gardening groups, walking excursions, crafting workshops,

photography clubs, and beyond.

All activities are carefully tailored to our members' interests, current issues, and historical

events. We have also extended our services into an evening session that runs weekly on a

Monday, to further our reach and extend our arms of support to even more people.

Each week we support over 100 marvellous individuals to live more fulfilling lives, and in order

to continue our work, we host a variety of fabulous fundraising events each year.
