Story
This May, for Huntington’s Disease Awareness Month, I’m challenging myself to walk a total of 375,000 steps across the month.
Huntington’s disease is a devastating condition, and for many people, getting a diagnosis can take years — sometimes as long as 12 years. This challenge is my way of recognising that long, difficult journey and raising awareness.
Over the 31 days, I’ll be walking the equivalent of around 187 miles, fitting it in around work and family commitments and pushing myself to stay consistent throughout.
I’m aiming to raise £300, and I’d really appreciate any support — whether that’s a donation or simply sharing this page.
