Beaverbrooks Bike Ride 2025 · 8 June 2025 ·

The annual Beaverbrooks Bike Ride cycle sees riders choose from routes of 15, 18, 30, 45 or 60 miles across the scenic Fylde Coast to support Trinity Hospice.

Story

I am raising money for the wonderful Trinity Hopsice by taking part in the Charity Bike Ride this Sunday (8th) around the Fylde Coast. This is an event I have taken part in many times but this year it has a very special meaning.

On Tuesday this week we lost my step-dad Chris to prostate cancer. Chris was fortunate enough to spend 3 weeks in April in Trinity Hospice and we witnessed first hand the wonderful work the amazing nurses, staff and volunteers do.

We couldn’t have asked for better care for Chris, he was treated with such care and dignity. The facility is fantastic and we are so lucky to have it on the Fylde Coast.

I am raising money this year as a way to say a small thank you for everything they did for him.

I know people are inundated with requests for money for various causes but if anyone could spare just £1, I would be very grateful and it will spur me round the route whilst battling the wind 💨😊
