Team Rigg's will cycle the 770 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats on static bikes · 8 December 2024

1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer. At Prostate Cancer UK, we’re giving every man the power to navigate it. With over £100 million invested in research, treatment, and care, we’re building a future where prostate cancer no longer cuts men’s lives short. Together, we can help save men’s lives.

Story

This year we decided to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK in support of their work with patients and families who have been affected by prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK, with about 55,000 cases annually. It primarily affects men over 50. Early detection is crucial for effective treatment and better outcomes. We hope that we can make a difference by raising awareness of this disease and funds for Prostate Cancer UK.

We chose to complete a charity cycle ride in honour of Sir Chris Hoy, who was recently diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer. He has always been an inspirational athlete but he has also proved to be an inspirational human being in the way he has dealt with his diagnosis.

So on Sunday 8th December Team Rigg's will cycle the 770 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats on static bikes. Please sponsor our effort!

Thank you.
