Right at Home is proud to partner with Dementia Adventure, to promote exceptional care and inspiring adventures for people who are living with dementia.

As a care provider, we're all about living life to the full, enabling independence and supporting our local communities, an ethos that aligns us perfectly with Dementia Adventure - a charity that supports people to get outside, connect with nature and continue doing the things they love.

We have launched a national Big Green Picnic initiative to bring local communities together, in a series of socially inclusive and sensory-stimulating events across our network of franchise offices this summer.

We will also be supporting Green Letter Days that the charity runs for people with dementia, including watch cricket at Lords and making a return to a local golf course. We'll be creating some new ones - there have even been talks about some high ropes adventure days, for former adrenaline junkies!

Underpinning this partnership is a focus on living well and enjoying our great outdoors. Dementia Adventure provides supported holidays at locations around the UK - guided experiences, suitable for various levels of mobility and ability, which can be transformational for people living with dementia - and their family carers.

We are fundraising to help more people who don't have the funds to pay, access these holidays. Because life is for living; and living well.
