In February 2025, my little sister Riyana was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks healthy tissue, causing severe joint pain and extreme fatigue.

It has been a tough year for her, with some days so painful she struggles to walk. Despite this, she continues to face it with incredible bravery.

To support her and raise awareness, I’ll be running the Brighton Marathon in aid of Lupus UK.
