Story
After my mum's recent diagnosis of breast cancer, I've been involved in charity events trying to raise money for Macmillan. This time i wanted to be the one organising something.
I'm not much of a baker, so didn't think I'd raise much there - but i have always wanted an excuse to shave my head!
Now it just so happens that my best mate Sam has one of the biggest fros in Crofton, but it didn't take long to convince him to Brave the Shave with me.
So next month, the 2 of us will be publicly having our heads shaved during a lunch break in the school day.
There are 2 ways to donate:
1. Simply use this link to the secure Just Giving page where 100% of proceeds go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support.
2. Donate cash on the day. Anyone donating cash on the day can take a snip of mine or Sam's hair themselves.
Thank you in advance for any support. I'm sure we all know by now that Cancer is a cruel illness and is currently affecting 1 in 2 of us.
Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
