Story
A baby is born with a serious heart condition every two hours in the UK and despite congenital heart disease being one of the biggest killers of infants, only around half of congenital heart defects are picked up during routine prenatal scanning.
Hi there!
My son Riley has a disability due to his congenital heart condition (Tricuspid Atresia) which was the biggest scare in our family lives when we found when he was inside his mummy’s belly. The doctors told us he won’t live a full healthy

life. But we didn’t want to not let him experience what he can💙 and with modern technology and the community spirit we can raise money together to help charity’s like this one raise awareness and help research into congenital heart diseases/conditions for the future and any help I can do for my son and other children like him will mean the world to me
That’s why I’m climbing mount snowdon on the end of February in a low oxygen mask. My son’s SATs sit at 82-84 permanently and by doing this climb in a low oxygen mask from bottom to top mimicking how he would be feeling whilst doing it makes the most sense to me. Ive got just under two months to train for this and any support we can get will be amazing!
Thankyou for reading our short story of our amazing son RILEY💙
