Story

Hi, I’m Riley, I’ll be running the 2025 London Marathon, helping to fundraise for the Scoliosis Support and Research charity.

The charity provides vital support to people and their families dealing with Scoliosis, as well as funding research into Scoliosis and other spinal conditions.

When I was just 14 I was diagnosed with Scoliosis and my life came to a sudden halt. Being ruled out of sport and having so much time off school was devastating, but with the support of organisations such as Scoliosis S&R has helped me to rebuild my life. The 14-year-old Riley would never have imagined that I could be in a position today to play sports, let alone run the marathon.

It will not be easy, but I hope to push myself and my fitness boundaries to help raise funds for other people going through what I went through and to show that things can get better.

Thank you so much for any and all support, it means the world to me.
