This recent September I participated in Ironman Wales to raise funds for Velindre and am hosting a fun run in December as a thank you for this years support. Will be nice to meet up with people!

I lost mum to cancer and Velindre were so great giving her the support she needed and they looked after our family so well that I didn't realise I could possibly lose her (I was little).

Velindre help treat, care and support patients/families surrounding cancer. They also help in supporting the NHS with research projects, help fund specialist equipment and support nurses so that we can get the best care available.

Losing a family member is hard at any age let alone losing her when I was 11. I'm fortunate enough to have over a decade with her as some people don't even get that.

I would really appeciate any support for this whether it be donating or sharing my story, I hope we can do our bit to help people in need.
