Climbing Kilamanjiro · 1 June 2025

Founded in 2012 after the loss of Reuben Graham, our mission is to relieve the distress of families who have suffered the loss of a child or have a child living with medical complexities. Every penny donated makes a huge difference to families. Thank you for being part of #ReubensJourney

Story

On Sunday 18th June we're practicing for our big climb to the top of Kilimanjaro by climbing the height of Kilimanjaro - 6000m at Rivington Pike!

As a team we're tag teaming the steps leading up to the top of Rivington Pike to get to a grand total of 6000m in a day!

We set off to climb the world's largest freestanding mountain Kilimanjaro on 1st June and are using our beautiful pike as a training ground in the last few days leading up to our departure.

As a team were looking to raise £50k for Reubens Retreat - please give what you can to this amazing cause!!!

Reuben’s Retreat was founded in August 2012, just 2 days after Reuben Graham died aged just 23 months old. His Mummy Nicola created the charity to help others who are facing or already dealing with similar heartbreak, walking side-by-side with families offering emotional and practical support for parents and siblings bereaved of a child and for families of life limited or threatened children who face uncertain futures. To find out more about this incredible charity, please visit their website www.reubensretreat.org or social media channels.
