Each week, the Rukhsana Khan Foundation's food bank supports more than 100 households in Walthamstow facing food insecurity. With 1 in 9 Waltham Forest residents suffering from food poverty, our work has never been more crucial.

To support our campaign to raise £15,000 to fund our food bank into 2024, we’re excited to invite you to participate in our fundraising raffle, where you have the chance to win incredible local prizes.

Raffle Terms and Conditions:

Eligibility:

The raffle is open to individuals aged 18 and above.

Participants must be residents of the United Kingdom.

2. Ticket Purchase:

Raffle tickets can be purchased online through the fundraising page here, designated platform provided by the Rukhsana Khan Foundation.

Payment must be made in GBP (£) and is non-refundable.

Participants are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date contact information during the ticket purchase.

3. Ticket Prices:

Single raffle tickets are priced at £10 each.

A bundle of 5 raffle tickets is available for £40.

4. Raffle Draw:

The raffle draw will take place on 1st February 2024, and winners will be randomly selected.

The draw will be conducted fairly and transparently.

Winners will be notified via the contact information provided during ticket purchase within 3 days.

5. Prize Collection:

Winners must claim their prizes within 14 days of being informed.

The Foundation will make reasonable efforts to contact winners. Failure to respond within the stipulated period may result in the selection of an alternate winner.

6. Prize Details:

All prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative prize.

Specific terms and conditions associated with individual prizes (e.g., tour scheduling, and restaurant reservation) will be communicated to winners upon notification.

Winners will be responsible for liaising directly with the venues to arrange prize specifics and logistics.

7. Fundraising Purpose:

Proceeds from the raffle will directly support the Rukhsana Khan Foundation’s community initiatives, including the weekly food bank and drop-in community kitchen.

8. Legal Compliance:

This raffle is conducted in compliance with applicable UK laws and regulations.

The Rukhsana Khan Foundation reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and to disqualify any participant found to be in violation of these rules.

9. Privacy:

Personal information collected during the ticket purchase process will be handled in accordance with the Foundation’s privacy policy.

10. Decisions:

All decisions made by the Rukhsana Khan Foundation regarding the raffle, including but not limited to prize allocation and rule interpretation, are final.
