50 years of the Romney Marsh Community Hub 1975 - 2025
The last 50 years have seen many changes since the charity was first established in 1975 as Age Concern Hythe and Romney Marsh but at its heart the charity has always offered a place for older people to meet, socialise and access support.
Today the charity is a lifeline for over 50s across the Marsh offering:
- Social and Community Activities
- Health and Fitness Classes
- Arts and Crafts
- Peer Support Groups
- Sunflower Memory Cafés
- Informationand Guidance
- The Marsh Bee service getting people to hospital and GP appointments and more
All donations to the Romney Marsh Community Hub go directly towards providing vital services for older adults, people with disabilities and those in need across the community.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
