Story
Updated Howdy,
We did it! And had a really cracking day together in the process. It was chilly at the top, but the view stretched as far as Glen Coe, it was just sublime!
We’d like to thank everyone for their generosity in sponsoring us. We had some lovely messages of support from clients and acoustic consultants that really connected with the cause as much as we did. It's been very rewarding.
This page will be kept open should you still wish to donate.
Thank you all.
RMP Acoustic Consultants
--------------------------------------
Howdy,
RMP Acoustic Consultants are walking up Schiehallion, an iconic Munro in central Scotland, and are excited to be fundraising for a charity associated to their work - The National Deaf Children's Society.
As a bunch of people with mixed hill walking experience, we are looking forward to being outside soaking up the vista, and unlike last time, we are hoping it won't be misty!
As acoustic consultants we are regularly involved in projects aiming to create inclusive aural environments. Work within existing schools often highlights the challenges teachers and families face in the education of children with hearing loss and specifical communication needs. Helping to improve the acoustic environment is an excellent starting point, but we would like to do more.
Your support would be greatly appreciated:
- £24 could answer 4 calls to our Helpline from parents who have just found out their child is deaf, reassuring them they’re not alone.
- £44 could provide an online session empowering parents to make sure their deaf child gets the right support at school.
- £100 could fund one-to-one support for 3 families, helping them to secure the support they need.
Please give generously.
Thank you,
RMP Acoustic Consultants
