This year on the 24th and 25th August myself, (Denzil), Ian Whitefoot (Wil) , Roy Smith (Smudge) and Ian Wilson (Tug), all Royal Navy Veterans have decided on taking on the challenge of walking from Fareham to Berwick St John, Shaftesbury, which mounts up to 80Km in total, to be completed across 2 days.

With a combined 111 years of service to the Royal Navy (Senior service), coupled with our attendance to other SSAFA fund raising events, we have heard all too often for the call upon this and many other like-minded charities to help our fellow serving and veteran personnel and we wanted to help make a difference in our own way.

SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has been providing lifelong support to our Forces and their families since 1885.
