Story
As a migrant and proud trans woman living with HIV, Roa has become a powerful voice in the HIV community. Her advocacy began in 2022 when she spoke about gender equality for trans communities in Parliament during Positively UK’s Manifesto launch. Since then, Roa has grown as a strong advocate for both the trans and HIV communities. She volunteers with Positively UK’s South London wellbeing group and plays an active role in various impactful initiatives representing trans women’s needs. Her powerful speech at the 2024 National Conference of People Living with HIV brought the room to its feet.
