Story
After a good friend living with ME shared the #MoveForME campaign with me, I’m challenging myself to walk, run or swim 5k every day in May!
I think they put it really well by explaining:
“The campaign to raise awareness for ME is called 'millions missing' because the illness basically makes you drop out of your life. You're no longer present and counted in society. It's incredibly hard for people with ME to campaign, advocate, and raise awareness when it takes all our effort to stay alive.”
Can you help me reach my target of £100 raised for the ME association? <3

Catherine is inviting friends, family, colleagues, and communities to move in any way they can to raise awareness and funds for the ME Association.
Every step, stretch, pedal, roll of wheels, or meet-up represents movement that people with ME/CFS are often denied.
Why this matters
ME/CFS isn’t “just tiredness.” It’s a complex neurological illness where even small exertion can cause severe and long-lasting crashes. Rest doesn’t restore energy - it’s survival.
When you #moveforme, you:
Raise awareness of an invisible illness
Help fund research, advocacy, and patient support
Remind people with ME/CFS that they are seen and not forgotten
Seeing people move for me helps me feel less invisible. It reminds me (and others living with ME/CFS) that our lives, no matter how small, still matter, even when our bodies won’t cooperate.
