Story
I have decided to take on the challenge of a lifetime and walk the coast of England and Wales, covering a distance of 3,544 miles. This journey is not just about the miles; it is a personal quest to prove to myself that I can win the fight againt depression and anxiety.
Mental health is an issue that affects many, yet it often remains shrouded in silence. I want to raise awareness about the decline of mental health in the UK and emphasise that it is ok to talk about our feelings. We are not alone in this fight.
Having faced an ongoing battle with depression and suicidal thoughts, and having lost a dear friend to suicide, I am proud to support CALM. This cause is deeply personal to me, and it is a privilege to contribute in any way I can.
I am aiming to raise funds for CALM as part of this trek. Your support will help shine a light on mental health issues and provide vital resources for those who need them most. Together, we can make a difference—let's show that hope exists even in the darkest times.
