Story
So many of the people I know, especially young people, have battled with mental health challenges. It's incredibly tough. Not enough people get help they need and there is still stigma attached. But every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem.
I'm running the Great North Run on 13th September to raise money for Mind, with my daughter, Ruby. It's not my first half-marathon - I entered once before, in 2000. It nearly killed me. But we are determined to do this, for a good cause.
Mind believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. They're fighting for everyone with a mental health problem to get support and respect.
Please help to support this work, by giving what you can.
