50km ultramarathon on Christmas Eve

Saving the Survivors is a field-based non-profit conservation organisation that aims to maintain biodiversity by caring for and rescuing threatened and endangered wildlife species.

Story

I met Dr Johan of Saving the Survivors in South Africa earlier this year. I was blown away by blown away by the effectiveness and need for their work.

🦏 What do they do? We treat endangered wild animals that have fallen victim to poaching or traumatic incidents. Whilst we will attend to the needs of any injured animal, most of our efforts have been directed at rhinos due to the viscious attacks that many of them have fallen victim to.

🏃‍♂️ What am I doing? Running 50km. I haven’t trained because I want to see what my mind and body are capable of when I put them to the test.

Whatever contribution you can spare will make a difference. I’m documenting my progress on instagram @robcoopercarpe

Thank you and merry Christmas 🎄
