Rob's Firewalk Challenge for Project Possibility

Robert Simpson is raising money for Project Possibility

Fire & Ice Challenge for Project Possibility · 7 March 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

Join us for an unforgettable fundraising event where you'll walk barefoot across burning hot coals, or plunge into an ice-cold swim at Ware Lido - or take on both. We're fundraising to enable inspiring events for young people in 2026 and beyond.

Story

On 7th March, I’m doing something slightly mad for a cause I truly believe in. I’ll be walking barefoot across red-hot wood embers at 650°C.

As a Trustee of Project Possibility, I’ve seen our small early steps grow into something much bigger. While we’ve dipped our toes in the water before, this Firewalk represents our first major kickoff fundraiser. We are stepping up our ambitions, and I’m putting my own feet on the line to lead the way.

The Goal: £500 = One 'Possibility Project'

I’ve set a target of £500 because that is roughly the amount required to deliver a full, day immersive event for a school. By hitting this goal, we can move from planning to action, providing students with experiences like:

- Creating a movie in a week: Students become the crew, using professional kit to tell their own stories.

- Building a community library: A hands-on project that leaves a permanent legacy for a school.

- Planting a forest: Connecting young people with nature by creating a brand-new ecosystem from scratch.

At Project Possibility, we want to turn 'I can't' into 'I can.' I’m facing the fire to ensure that for our first major project, we can tell a school: 'Yes, we can make this happen.'

Please join me in launching this journey. Every donation makes you a vital part of our first big chapter!
