Story
At some point on Sunday 28th June, Rob and Lisa will be standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 feet (or more hopefully!) They will have the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in their ears and only the outline of the distant fields below.
They will then lean forward out of the doorway and let go. Falling forward into the clouds, diving down through the air and freefalling at over 120mph.
Then the peace and quiet as the canopy opens and they descend from a mile up in the air back to their drop zone.
Harnessed to a professional this is Rob and Lisa’s Tandem Skydive – in aid of Resolve.
Resolve is a Letchworth-based charity supporting and helping local residents in the grip of alcohol and drug misuse.
Last year they supported 365 local people; that’s 365 lives transformed. a father regaining stability and reconnecting with his children, a woman rebuilding her life after years of dependency, and a young person choosing recovery over relapse.
‘Thank you Resolve. You are literally Lifesavers!’
Resolve’s life changing, sometimes life-saving, services are free to attend but not free to run and rely entirely on fundraising.
So any donation, big or small, you can make to Rob and Lisa’s incredible jump would be massively appreciated and used well to support those who need help.
Thank you so very much.
