Rob Harbord is raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity
In memory of Colin Harbord

The Twilight Walk London 2026 · 21 March 2026 ·

The Twilight Walk is The Brain Tumour Charity's biggest and most inspiring event of the year. People from across the community will unite to raise money and stride forward together towards a brighter future for everybody affected by a brain tumour.

Story

My brother Colin was only a few weeks into his well earned retirement and looking forward to a new life by the seaside with his wife Sonya... and then over easter 2025 he was given the terrible diagnosis of a stage 4 Glioblastoma brain tumour and just 9 months later he isn't with us anymore....Did you know Brain Tumours kill more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer!.. they can affect anyone at any age!...it really is heartbreaking seeing the awful effects brain tumours cause to the person in pain and the suffering they face each day and the effect on families and friends who watch them try and battle against the odds.....so lets help and find a cure, raise awareness and some money as we

remember Colin. I'm completing the 10K Twilight Walk in London on 21st March. Here is some information about this important charity....and thank you for your support however big or small, every pound goes to find a cure.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.

We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And we're doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
